Prophet Eric Kofi Owusu is a dynamic man of God whose ministry has touched many lives in his generation. Born in Kumasi, Ghana, Prophet Eric’s childhood was marked by many struggles. Regardless, his untamed passion for the gospel at a young age allowed him to persevere in all his endeavors. Earlier in ministry, Prophet Eric served at the Assemblies of God Church in Kumasi, Ghana, under the leadership of Rev. Duncan Nyarko, where he made himself available for the body of Christ. Prophet Eric migrated to the United States in the year 2003 to begin a fellowship in a living room. What started as a small congregation of believers in the living room quickly emerged to be one of the most powerful prophetic churches in Bronx, New York— Holy Fire Dynamic Word International Church (“HFDWIC”).
Today, HFDWIC has three branches across the United States and Ghana, and it is the vision of Prophet Eric to expand to other parts of the world. God continues to use Prophet Eric immeasurably in the office of prophecy and deliverance. He is a one of a kind prophet and visionary for our generation. Through his powerful messages about love, faith, hope and the importance of prayer and fasting, Prophet Eric continues to shape the destinies of countless people who are touched by his weekly sermons which are also streamed live over the internet.
Prophet Eric is the Founder and General Overseer of Holy Fire Dynamic Word International Church. He is a devoted husband to First Lady Diana Owusu. They are blessed with four beautiful children who are following their footsteps. He is also a soon-to-be author of his debut book he has entitled “Prayer Changes Everything”.
